Art Competition Supports Charity

Philanthropy NewsThe Acton Charity Art Event will host an art competition at the Inn at Robbins Brook Senior Living Community, 10 Devon Drive, Acton, Friday, June 28, 5:30 p.m.

The competition will feature the art of local artists from ages 8 to 18. The winners will receive a prize and all of the art submitted will be displayed for two weeks at the Inn.

He's right – it is difficult to think of any area of public expenditure where such a very small amount of investment delivers greater benefits. A recent report pointed to the significant positive returns that the arts bring, particularly during times of economic turmoil.
